Gaither Send-Off For Gordon Mote

June 02, 2012 By: Aaron Category: Gaither, Gordon Mote, SG Artists, SG Industry News, SG Music

I’ve seen few send-offs that have been more classy or from the heart than the one that Bill Gaither did for Gordon Mote at the Family Fest when the announcement was made that Gordon is leaving the tour. Here’s the entire video, including Gordon being featured on the piano:

Another great example of someone who has not let a disability keep them from being the best that they can be. I’ve heard of Gordon but haven’t paid as much attention to him. I am impressed by his playing. It will be interesting to see what he has planned for his solo dates.

  2. Thanks for sharing the video. That’s the way people should do business and leave a group – to where you can always come back. Too many ppl burn the bridge when they leave – how sad when that happens. Gaither’s a classy guy and will be missed when he’s gone!

Gordon Mote deserves all the praise we can give him since he is one of the best piano players around. Our wishes for complete success on anything he does from here on and our prayers go with him as well.
