Kyle Boreing has the scoop. After five years of singing with the Gold City quartet, tenor Steve Ladd has resigned.
Gold City has announced that Steve Ladd has resigned his position as tenor vocalist. Steve has been with the group for almost 5 years. He will be taking a job as worship leader in a church near Gadsden, AL.
“We hate to see him go, but wish him the best in this new endeavor” says Daniel Riley. “He spent a lot of time considering this move and I’m sure that he will be an asset to his church, just as he has been here. Steve is a dear friend and we will miss him.”
Steve says, “Being with Gold City has been a dream come true for me. This has been a very tough decision to make. These guys have become my dearest friends. Very sad to see this happen. It was quite a treat to hear and watch as Steve improved steadily over his course with GC. I wish him well in his latest endeavor, and I wish Gold City a good tenor search.
