NQC 2008 Evening Concert Lineup Posted

Went over to www.natqc.com and noticed that they have their evening concerts lineups for NQC 2008. I’m sure more groups and sucjh will be added before next September, but here are some things I noticed:

1. Of course, The Gaither Vocal Band and EHSSQ are making their return to NQC this year. I daresay this will give the attendence for the week, and the nights they’re on especially, a big boost.

2. No Palmetto State, No Mercy’s Mark, No Anchormen, No Blackwood Brothers. Looks like the “revamped” PSQ has to prove itself worthy first. Perhaps Mercy’s Mark will be added later should they return in 2008, new lineup or not. The Anchormen might be added once they get another bass, but I doubt it. The Blackwood Brothers, well, I haven’t heard the current guys yet, and I guess I won’t get to anytime soon.

3. No Valor. I set this one seperately because it stands out to me. I know they were invited to the mainstage last year, but were unable to fulfill that spot because their bass singer got sick. Guess they had one chance and blew it (by no fault of their own; things just happen) and were not invited back this year. That’s a shame; I was eager to hear them last year, and was disappointed that they didn’t make it. I heard rumblings right after this year’s Convention that they had disbanded, but those rumours never were confirmed, so for now, I will just hope that they will be added later on.
